Have we gone mainstream?

Received in my mailbox yesterday:

An annual report featuring skeins of yarn. Why I find that incredibly funny, I have no idea.

I actually have been knitting quite a lot lately, despite the sparce number of blog entries. In fact, I finished this felted bag back in March sometime:
